Reservations
All appointments are confirmed the day prior to your scheduled visits. To best assure your preferred times, we recommend making Spa reservations at least two weeks in advance, although we gladly accommodate daily appointments and walk-ins if available. In advance of service, please advise us of any medical conditions, pregnancy, allergies or use of any prescribed creams such as Retin-A.

Selecting a Therapist
You may be served, at your option, by either male or female therapists, all New York State-licensed – simply let us know your preference when scheduling your appointment.

Arriving
We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. “Spa hours” are 55 minute sessions that allow for adequate time to prepare the space between guests. Arriving early, whenever possible, will allow you to relax and make the most of your “hands-on” time with us.

Cancellations
While cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, please give us 24 hours’ notice to avoid a possible 50% cancellation charge. 

Privacy
Different spa treatments require varying levels of undress. For your privacy and comfort, please inquire which articles of clothing may be left on. Slippers and a robe are always provided for your convenience.

Tranquility offers private treatment rooms, including a “duet” room for two people together to enjoy body scrubs, wraps and massages, with an individual therapist assigned to each person. The spa offers separate ladies’ and gentlemen’s locker rooms, with showers, steam room and most body and beauty amenities.

Gratuities
Gratuities, although not included in our online pricing, are greatly appreciated.

Protecting Your Valuables
While all Tranquility guests are issued a keyed locker, we recommend against bringing valuable items to the Spa. Tranquility cannot be responsible for loss of or damage to personal articles, including clothing and accessories.
